You will want to add a water proof box on the roof to house the panel disconnect clips. The kit comes with 6 feet of #10 wire to go from the solar panel to the controller. We needed to buy 7 more feet of #4 wire to go to the battery. We could have used lighter wire but didn't want to risk the voltage drop. The controller is easily adjustable for voltage to suit your battery in "bulk charge" when the battery is hungry and in "float charge" when the battery is fully charged. This 100 watt kit is a great way to jump into solar power. The 7 1/2 amps will keep our battery topped off.

The description needs to be updated to include what else you will need if you decide to add the additional three panels which I did. It would also be nice if they were available through Home Depot. I had to go to Amazon to get the MC4 connectors to put it all together. Now that it is installed it is performing perfectly. It can be put together at less expense by ordering elsewhere, but I preferred to have a known supplier.
